About Our Purpose

To demonstrate how an average American family, mom, dad, son, and grandmother can travel to Sumatra to explore the rain forest while contemplating and documenting the challenges that face the local coffee farmers, their families and their community. We are in search of strategies to assist these communities in their efforts to acquire a sustainable living in the face of our rampant consumerism. We will learn about the values we share and about our differences that enhance our individuality.
